UX Lead - Advanced UIs and Interactions

Talysto is an LA-based technology studio working with select clients to build advanced applications. Our projects demand skills and vision to take advantage of the latest capabilities in iOS, tvOS and Android platforms. You will work with a top-notch team with advanced skills in a variety of technologies that will be sure to complement your capabilities.

We are looking for a senior UX professional with experience designing game-like user interfaces for mobile and web applications. Experience designing apps for high user engagement with a film/TV quality visual display is ideal. You will be working with applications leveraging real-time video sources, data overlays and utilizing AI/ML for providing user feedback and video enhancements.

Apps for consumers and businesses will utilize a variety of game dynamics in non-game contexts. You must be able to create production-quality deliverables including information architecture flows, low-fi wireframes, hi-fi designs and interaction design guides. Interactions will include static visual elements, animation and sound/music.

Requirements

• Degree in Creative, Design, or applicable Technical program
• US Residency
• 3+ years experience designing applications for iOS and/or Android devices
• Experience working with engineering team to align design objectives with implementation
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English)
• Ability to analyze complex problems, quickly develop creative solutions that meet customers and peers needs.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing with game engines (Unity, Unreal) as well as native mobile 2D and 3D frameworks
• Deep comprehension of user experience requirements and nuances of interaction design
• Experience developing user interfaces with specified requirements of accessibility and localization
